Schools Colleges and Universities Two problems exist with many schools’ career services department. First, students too often fail to take full advantage of the services available. In spite of that first issue, most schools’ career services folks are swamped. But are they swamped while providing all the necessary services? Many colleges provide students with reference materials, online resources, etc, but often fail to effectively reach students with soft skills training in order for students to successfully market themselves to employers. At no cost to the college or the students, TWF provides group workshops in areas of networking, interviewing, dealing with search firms, negotiating, and general question/answer sessions. We encourage students to utilize their college’s resources more fully. In short, TWF complements career services. We don’t replace their message. E.D.G.E. workshops may be delivered during in-class times or outside the classroom, perhaps at a lunch and learn. From a strategic standpoint, TWF makes sense for colleges:
