About Us The Wooden Foundation is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) organization. Its purpose is to better equip our young adults with real world advice on transitioning from high school or college to a successful career. The Wooden Foundation exists under the guidance of its Randy Wooden maintains his for-profit Wooden Group to provide both one-on-one career marketing advice and corporate outplacement services. Over the years Randy has volunteered his time offering free group seminars to colleges, high schools, churches, and civic and professional groups. We hear from corporate leaders how today’s youth is largely unprepared for the hiring process. School administrators talk about difficulties in persuading students to utilize available career services assistance. Parents know too well the feeling when their children tune them out as the subject of "their future" comes up. The Wooden Foundation recognizes the challenges our younger generation faces as it transitions to the real world. Our goal is to create a win-win for both young adults and their prospective employers.
